Senior Project Manager
Remote (working core EST hours)
W2 Contract through Dec 2025 + extension
Responsibilities:
- Plan, monitor and manage multiple projects from initiation through completion according to PMI Best Practices and Company Management Models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
- Create and maintain Stakeholder Register and Analysis Document.
- Ensure stakeholder review and buy-in of intermediate and final project deliverables.
- Create Project Plan using Microsoft Project that includes tasks, duration, predecessors and successors, and resources.
- Monitor activities daily related to the project, including subcontractor monitoring.
- Create, manage, and distribute project communications artifacts like charters, schedules, status, and risks.
- Plan and lead status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, and businesses.
- Create Organization Change Management plan and execute it.
- Communicate routinely to management, businesses, project team members, and other stakeholders, actively soliciting and addressing project team feedback.
- Establishes key project criteria metrics.
- Manage Risk register and mitigations.
- Coordinate and drive resolutions of technical and operational issues.
- Ensures change management processes are followed.
Qualifications
- Manage multiple, complex technical projects simultaneously, end-to-end
- Resolve conflicts as needed with internal and external project stakeholders
- Ability to communicate across all organizational levels
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, or other PM tools like P6
- Understanding interdependencies of technical projects; ability to deal with projects at a high level
- Ability to put together project plans with technical teams for deliverables
- End-to-End Project Management – leading initiation, planning, and execution
- Project Management experience with SDLC and/or Cybersecurity fields preferred
- Previous energy/utilities sector experience or familiarity with NERC or FERC nice to have but not required
